The Huawei LUNA2000-10-S0 is a 10 kWh (usable capacity) energy storage unit belonging to Huawei’s LUNA2000-S0 series. It features a modular architecture with 5 kWh per module, allowing flexible scalability (5 → 10 → 15 kWh) according to the user’s needs.

The unit uses LiFePO₄ (lithium iron phosphate) cells, which are considered safer in terms of stability and offer better long-term performance.

It provides 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD) — meaning the entire battery capacity can be used without any hidden reserve.

The LUNA2000-10-S0 supports parallel operation of up to 2 units (two “towers”), enabling a total capacity of up to 20 kWh.

The power module and battery modules connect to the system and activate automatically via an app (app detection / self-recognition).

It can work with Huawei’s single-phase or three-phase inverters from the SUN2000 series.

Cooling is passive (natural airflow), without fans, and it has an IP66 protection rating.

The product warranty is generally stated as 10 years in many sources.
