The LUNA2000-15-S0 is a high-voltage energy storage system (ESS) from Huawei’s LUNA2000-S0 series, designed to be modular — composed of 5 kWh battery modules that can be combined to form capacities of 5, 10, or 15 kWh.

The 15-S0 model consists of 3 battery modules LUNA2000-5-E0 (each 5 kWh) together with one power management module LUNA2000-5KW-C0 (power module).

Key design features:

• Depth of Discharge (DoD) 100% — meaning the usable energy equals the nominal capacity without hidden reserves.

• Supports parallel operation (dual “tower”) for capacity expansion up to 30 kWh.

• Cell technology: LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate), considered a more stable and safer choice for long-term use.

• Protection rating: IP66 (excellent protection against dust and water).

• Operating temperature range: approximately –20 °C to +55 °C.
