LUNA2000-21-S1

The Huawei LUNA2000-21-S1 is a high-voltage energy storage system (ESS) designed to work with Huawei photovoltaic panels and inverters (such as the Sun2000 series).

It is part of the LUNA2000-7/14/21-S1 series, where the numbers 7, 14, and 21 represent the energy capacity in kWh. The “21” configuration includes three (3) battery modules.

The cell technology used is LiFePO₄ (Lithium Iron Phosphate), which offers improved safety, stability, long cycle life for charging and discharging, and reduced risk of thermal events compared to other lithium types.

The unit is designed to:

• Provide 100% Depth of Discharge (DoD), meaning it can be fully discharged without compromising warranty or performance.

• Feature a “Module+ Architecture” with integrated energy optimizers to maximize usable energy.

• Have a high protection rating (IP66), suitable for both indoor and outdoor installation.
