The Victron MultiPlus 48/500 / 6-16 DC-AC inverter / pure sine battery charger is ideal for autonomous photovoltaic package with 48V battery, covers simultaneous operation of 430W loads inverter (inverter mode) and having 16A AC input charges the battery from the generator / PPC with 6A DC, while the rest of the current passes to the load (charger mode).

It is suitable for electrification of a holiday home, small business or any total load of 430W. For example it is combined with:

12 photovoltaic panels of 280 / 285Wp

24 2 volt batteries RES SOPzS 605Ah @ C120 or 24 2 volt batteries RES SOPzV 710Ah @ C120

It is also a charger for batteries from an AC source, which can be a liquid fuel generator or the PPC network. The connection to the PPC network can remain, so that we have a hybrid autonomous photovoltaic system. MultiPlus is programmed (via PC, Victron MK2 / MK3 adapter and VE.Configure application) to switch from inverter mode to charger mode when the battery drops below a voltage-discharge depth value. The inverter has the ability to start the generator automatically.
